British business must take full advantage of a low carbon technology market
26/06/08 | 13:16
Commenting on John Hutton MP's measures to build up Britain's clean power supply, David Frost, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, said:
"We are fully supportive of this plan as British businesses will have the opportunity to lead the world in low carbon energy products and technologies. A $500 billion low carbon technology market could be created and we should be taking full advantage of it.
"As a nation we are uniquely placed to take up this challenge as we account for 40 per cent of all Europe’s possible wind energy."
