RAIL PROBLEMS ACROSS THE UK ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE

Natalie Evans, Head of Policy at the British Chambers of Commerce, said:

“Every New Year people try to get to work and seem to be beset by problems on the rail network. Today's rail problems, coupled with an inflation busting increase in fares, are simply not good enough. Network Rail and the train operating companies need to ensure that any problems are resolved immediately and ensure that commuters are provided with a reliable, efficient service.”
