Government needs to offer clear advice to business on migrant labour

Commeting on the Government's plans to "name and shame" firms who employ illegal immigrants, David Frost, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, said:

“Of course it’s important that unscrupulous employers are penalised, however, the Government must ensure that reliable advice and support is always available so that those firms who are law abiding don’t find themselves falling foul of this new and potentially very damaging punishment.”
